Kindergarten transition

It's that time of the year when we begin to prepare for our 2019 student intake.

At Ballina Public School, we want to make the transition to school as smooth as possible through our readiness programs for children and parents.

During Term 4, we deliver our fantastic Kindergarten readiness program and parent information sessions.

Enrollment forms are available at any time of the year from our school office.

When you come to the school to enrol, please bring the following documents with you:

  • Child's Birth Certificate

  • Proof of student's residential address (council rates notice, electricity account, residential lease)

  • Australian Childhood Immunisation Register (ACIR) Immunisation History Statement.

2019 Enrolments

Kindergarten is a very important stage in the life of your child.  It is in Kindergarten that children develop concepts about themselves as learners and form attitudes to school.  A successful year will create a good basis for all future schooling.

The emphasis at Ballina Public School is to provide each child with a wide variety of appropriately planned and structured learning experiences in a caring environment.

Parents enrolling their children in Kindergarten for 2019 may contact the office on 02 6686 2205 for enrolment paperwork, and to book their child's place in the Kindergarten 2019 orientation program.
