Literature appreciation: instilling a love of reading and learning in students; and information literacy skills teaching students to search, collect, create and evaluate information effectively both on-line and in text.
Learning new skills required by students to be successful in a global and competitive society (critical thinking, creativity, digital literacy, problem solving, collaboration, communication).
These skills are woven and embedded into our library program for all students at Ballina Public School, in particular years 3 -6.
